Dodge Ball!

Dodge ball. Yes, dodge ball. The aroma of the gym alone could kill a room of sorority sisters... testosterone mixed with the stench of gym socks and jock straps. Ah, the sweet smell of 'sport'. Don't get me wrong, there were a few ladies playing the game as well. And yes, they kicked some butt.

The highlight of the tournament was a team of six, came strutting on to the playing field dressed in colorful t-shirts and SPANKIES! Wow. What a treat (spoken facetiously, of course).

Bailey

Bailey was one of 14 models we shot last Saturday. It was a mega-shooting of HUGE proportion. 13 hours of shooting, 14 models and 15 gigs of memory shot. It was absolutely fantastic.

Stay tuned, more fun from Saturday's shoot to come.

Mochi is also made into a New Year's decoration called kagami mochi (鏡餅, kagami mochi), formed from two round cakes of mochi with a bitter orange (橙, daidai) placed on top. The name daidai is supposed to be auspicious since it means "several generations."
